Mr. Peanut Scale

Manufactured in 1951 by Hamilton Scale Co., this is one of only 65 made for Planters Peanuts. His patina tells one of the best stories of any on the scales in the collection. Kids when entering the peanut stores would run up to him and rub his nose for good luck. His nose is worn down to the cast metal as a result of this affection.
